Job Summary:

As a Production Supervisor at Home Chef, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines. You will be responsible for guiding a team of production associates, overseeing the production process, and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Direct Production Teams: Guide a team of production associates to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet production targets.
  • Oversee Production Process: Monitor and control the production process to ensure that all products meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Ensure that all inventory and supplies are properly managed and that there are no shortages or overages.
  • Implement Quality Control Measures: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production planning, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure that production goals are met.
  • Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that all production activities are in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and Implement Process Improvements: Identify areas for process improvement and develop and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Provide training and development opportunities to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead and direct a team of production associates and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Production Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Quality Control Experience: Experience with quality control measures and procedures.
  • Inventory Management Experience: Experience with inventory management and control.
  • Process Improvement Experience: Experience with process improvement and implementation.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
