Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall on-site leadership and coordination for large-scale multifamily projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve seamless project execution.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by monitoring and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Conduct regular inspections to guarantee compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proactively address construction-related challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and change orders.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods related to large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction safety practices and regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
