Position Overview:
This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our credentialing processes. The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for managing the credentialing and re-credentialing applications of healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain the credentialing database for healthcare providers.
- Engage with medical office personnel and licensing authorities to facilitate the completion of insurance credentialing applications.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of payer credentialing, malpractice concepts, and the necessary skills to execute job functions effectively.
Compensation:
The base hourly wage for this position is $20.92. Compensation is influenced by relevant experience, and a robust benefits package is available for eligible roles.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role is fully remote.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
- Proven experience in completing and submitting payer credentialing applications.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.
