Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Orders/Bugsy Application Support Specialist to join our team at CGH Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide primary support for each Epic application, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Support: Act as the primary support contact for the application's end-users, identifying and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Identify issues that arise in your application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, working to resolve them in a collaborative and effective manner.
  • Workflow Design and Analysis: Guide workflow design, build, and testing the system, analyzing technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • System Maintenance and Updates: Identify and implement requested changes to the system, ensuring it meets the organization's business needs.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as a liaison between end-users' workflow needs and Epic implementation staff, maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives.
  • Project Management: Work with Epic representatives, business community, and end-users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs in regards to project deliverables and timeline.
  • Training and Support: Participate in training and working with end-users, troubleshooting problems and questions, and reviewing the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred; or associate degree with experience; or direct applicable experience with current certification or ability to obtain certification in lieu of degree considered.
  • Certification: Epic Orders/Bugsy Application Certified.
  • Key Competencies: Adaptability/flexibility, critical thinking, dependability, initiative, interpersonal skills, learning, listening, problem-solving, relationship building, and resilience.
