Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Cub Foods in Freeport, IL. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit payments
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area and surrounding areas
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels as needed
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and processing transactions
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
