Cub Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Cub in Freeport. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Assist customers with purchases, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as coupons and other forms of tender.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, shelves, and floors.
• Follow store policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, cash handling, and security.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
