We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Tacoma, WA. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for recording financial transactions, preparing payroll, managing invoices, and generating financial statements.
Key Responsibilities- Record financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Prepare and process payroll.
- Manage invoices, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Generate financial statements and reports.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Support financial audits with necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
To be successful as a Bookkeeper, you should possess:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
This is a temporary to hire position, requiring full-time commitment in Tacoma, WA. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
CompensationThe hourly wage for this position is between $30.00 and $36.00 per hour.
