We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in an outpatient setting, providing exceptional care to children and adolescents with a broad range of mental health issues.

About the Role

The successful candidate will conduct psychiatric evaluations, make diagnoses, and provide medication management to patients. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, and we require candidates with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and treat mental health disorders in children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Provide medication management and counseling services as part of comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NYS Professional Registered Nurse license.
  • NYS Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry Certification.
  • Experience in behavioral health treating children and adolescents (consideration will be given to those with interest in treating the population).
  • 1+ years of experience as a prescriber.
  • MSN in Psychiatry & Mental Health required at a minimum.
  • Knowledge of electronic Medical Records Systems and Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $135,000-$150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes opportunities for professional growth and development within TAL Healthcare.
