Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Staff Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing and treating individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely and effective client care
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members
  • Participate in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss client progress and address challenges

Requirements

  • Board certification in psychiatry and licensure to practice in New York State
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with emergency services in NY State and regulatory standards

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $312,000 per year, based on 40 hours of work per week. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
