Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Hotel Front Desk Agent. In this role, you will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling guest inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Check-in/Check-out: Process guest arrivals and departures, including distributing room keys, verifying identification, and processing payments.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, ensure accuracy, and communicate with guests regarding their bookings.
  • Credit Card Verification: Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Guest Registration: Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and dates of stay.
  • Room Assignment: Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms, ensuring they meet their needs and preferences.
  • Amenity Information: Provide guests with information about our hotel's amenities, available rooms, rates, and services.
  • Complaint Resolution: Respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner, resolving issues to their satisfaction.
  • Housekeeping Liaison: Coordinate with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests' needs.
  • VIP Services: Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, such as wedding guests.
  • Upselling: Identify opportunities to upsell additional facilities and services, enhancing the guest experience.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in using computer systems, and have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a similar role or in hospitality is desirable but not essential.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 - $45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
