Phlebotomist/Processor

Interpath Laboratory is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist/Processor to join our team in Tumwater, WA. As a key member of our clinical laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of patient reception, specimen collection, processing, and reporting.

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and team members
• Retrieve blood samples and other specimens, prepare them for laboratory testing, and perform screening procedures
• Verify specimen information, perform data entry, and properly identify patient information
• Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity
• Follow safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participate in quality assurance

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• WA Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist certification
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
