We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Disinfecting: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-touch areas, patient rooms, and common areas.
- Discharge Cleaning: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, including beds, furniture, and equipment, after patient discharge.
- Organizational Support: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized environment, including restocking supplies and maintaining equipment.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other departments and staff to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Follow hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
- Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25-50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform bending and stooping tasks.
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand and converse in English at a level that allows safe and efficient performance of the job.
