IT Technical Specialist

VC3, a leading provider of managed services and cybersecurity solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer II to join our team. As a key member of our technical support staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients by providing on-site technical assistance and support.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced IT professional who is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. You will work closely with our clients to identify and resolve complex technical issues, provide training and education on technical standards, and collaborate with our remote technicians and vendors to deliver seamless support experiences.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical assistance and support to VC3 clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues requiring an onsite presence
- Train and educate clients on technical standards
- Collaborate with remote technicians and vendors to deliver seamless support experiences
- Maintain accurate and real-time timesheets and records of troubleshooting and communication with clients
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years of experience in a Field Engineer I role at VC3
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently
- At least 5 years of experience fully supporting and building customer environments
- At least 5 years' experience managing and working with various technologies, including Windows Server, Microsoft/Office 365, Active Directory, GPOs, Routing and Switching, Firewalls, VPNs, Virus and Security, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
