Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities for the Construction Bookkeeper:
- Accurately record bank transactions using QuickBooks
- Input and manage bills in QuickBooks
- Monitor bills and process vendor payments through QuickBooks
- Execute weekly payroll for staff
- Prepare and remit taxes using QuickBooks
- Handle accounts receivable and payable tasks
- Support the owner with various operational responsibilities.
Administrative duties include responding to inquiries from clients, managing filing systems, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and performing additional tasks as required.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking an individual who is approachable, highly communicative, and possesses exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously and have prior experience in a construction office environment, as all responsibilities will pertain to construction-related activities.
The successful applicant will be a collaborative team member, able to follow instructions, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Professionalism, excellent communication abilities, and punctuality are essential.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is a critical requirement for this role, as the majority of your duties will involve bookkeeping functions.
Qualifications for Construction Bookkeeper:
- 3-5 years of experience in Construction Office Management
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- 3-5 years of experience in Bookkeeping
- 3-5 years of experience in Payroll
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of QuickBooks experience required
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Compensation:
$55,000-$75,000 Annually Based on Experience
