The Lead Security Officer is tasked with safeguarding all patrons, staff, and assets. This role involves managing situations such as conflicts, theft, vandalism, fire hazards, trespassing, and other unlawful activities with professionalism and composure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property at Ellis Entertainment LLC.
  • Respond to and assist in medical emergencies.
  • Verify the age of all guests entering the gaming area by checking IDs.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including the parking area and backlot.
  • Monitor for and document any irregularities during shifts, reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities.
  • Provide safe escort services for guests and staff to their vehicles upon request.
  • Oversee the secure transfer of funds to and from the cash handling area.
  • Act promptly in emergency situations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming/racing license as required.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, and/or AED are advantageous.
