Cornell University is seeking an Admissions Specialist for Diversity Outreach and Strategic Partnerships to join our team. This role will focus on recruiting and enrolling a diverse undergraduate and graduate student body, with a strong emphasis on student access, preparation, and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain recruitment programming and partnerships with internal and external organizations to support the college's diversity and inclusion objectives.
  • Represent the college on university, college committees, and with external constituents to promote diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Assist in the process of evaluating, assessing, and benchmarking existing recruitment and yield efforts to inform strategic partnerships and outreach initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean for Diversity and Equity and the Senior Director of Enrollment to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide support and advocacy for students through outreach, programming, and advising throughout the application process.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination. They will be a great communicator, able to handle sensitive matters, and serve as an advocate for individuals of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will have experience in and/or demonstrated commitment to supporting diversity, equity, access, inclusion, and wellbeing, as well as expertise with typical business software and new communication methods.
