Position Overview

The responsibilities you will undertake:

The Nurse Technician plays a vital role in supporting the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care by executing designated tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, tailored to specific age demographics. This position adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations as well as accrediting standards. You will actively engage in providing exemplary customer service and uphold respectful relationships with all individuals.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this position, candidates must either be currently enrolled in a nursing education program or have completed a nursing program within the past year without having obtained their Registered Nurse license.

Essential Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is mandatory.
  • Current enrollment in a nursing program or completion of a nursing program within the last year without licensure as a Registered Nurse.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
