Job Title: Store Associate

Location: Naples, FL

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at RaceTrac Petroleum in Naples, FL.

Job Summary:

The Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and selling products to customers in a high-volume convenience store outlet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets and interacts with customers in a genuine manner, suggesting products that complement their purchases to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Rings up customers on the cash register and balances cash and inventory transactions.
  • Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service, resolving and escalating customer complaints as necessary.
  • Fosters positive and professional relationships with coworkers and customers, communicating respectfully and maintaining a consistent team-oriented attitude.
  • Cleans the store and surrounding areas, including sweeping the parking lot, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, and restocking shelves and coolers.
  • Stocks shelves and coolers, takes inventory of shelf items, and ensures fresh foods are stocked and ready-to-eat.
  • Performs regular temperature checks to ensure food is at the appropriate temperature and adheres to all safety-related regulations.
  • Assists Store Management in receiving vendor deliveries and maintains fresh and available beverages.
  • Updates prices and posts new signage to reflect monthly promotions and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
