Job Summary

The MRI Technologist is a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging team at Skagit Regional Health, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and services. This role requires a strong clinical competence, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform direct patient care, utilizing established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Administer contrast and IVs according to policy and procedure.
  • Accurately execute provider orders according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform indirect patient care, utilizing established procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Communicate pertinent information to the appropriate persons in a timely manner.
  • Perform accurate and timely documentation according to SRH guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology training program.
  • Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS required.

The MRI Technologist will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. The role will involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with frequent use of equipment and technology.
