Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Elbit Systems of America. This role will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes to meet business case requirements, including run-times and bill-of-materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process flows, routing steps, and tooling.
  • Prepare project requests detailing proposed engineering work costs, parts lists, and product timetables.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure adherence to budget and develop BOEs for new product lines.
  • Provide direction on methods to maximize overall efficiency of assembly operations.
  • Create work cell layouts, including tooling, work areas, and CAD floor layouts.
  • Develop and model material flow plans from warehouse to production to shipping.
  • Develop tool control and storage systems.
  • Coordinate between Management, Program Offices, and Production for development of Business Case Studies.
  • Develop Actual and Standard Hour requirements, Capacity and Resource utilization studies, and Labor estimates.
  • Support development of continuous improvement projects and task implementation.
  • Be the Operations Data Analyst for control of all company procedures and documents.
Requirements

This position requires US citizenship status due to a government contract.
