Stewards Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stewards Supervisor to lead our Day Shift team at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the operations of the stewarding department, ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, and providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Stewarding team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
• Lead by example, providing exceptional guest service and promoting a positive work environment.
• Ensure all breakages and chipped items are removed from circulation and report any items in need of repair.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the Stewarding area, including tables, walls, and equipment.
• Ensure the smooth flow of operations, including the handling of dishes, silverware, and utensils.
• Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of Stewarding staff.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to work in a hot and humid environment.
