About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consumer Loan Processor to join our team at AgCarolina Farm Credit. As a key member of our Consumer Loan Processing team, you will play a critical role in processing consumer home and lot loans, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan requests while adhering to all relevant Federal, State, and FCA regulatory rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare loan documents in accordance with approved credit packages, ensuring accurate conveyance of terms, rates, conditions, collateral, and other related information to borrowing entities.
  • Prepare and submit attorney instruction letters, ensuring timely and accurate services for loan closings.
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers, Financial Specialists, Servicing Specialists, and 3rd party attorney/closing agents to ensure accurate and timely loan closings, verifying collateral lien positions.
  • Ensure timely scanning and filing of loan documents, forms, and checklists, resulting in properly set up loan files in accordance with ACA policy and procedure.
  • Prepare loan funding, including checks and/or wires, ensuring compliance with ACA internal control policy and procedure.
  • Timely and accurately book loan transactions to the system, ensuring cash and non-cash processing.
  • Ensure accuracy between approved credit packages, documents, and final system data entry.
  • Complete initial post-closing loan verification and document quality review to ensure complete and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with incoming phone calls and branch visitors, focusing on building strong relationships to return maximum value.
  • Adhere to ACA's internal controls and compliance policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate's degree in business, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical, judgment, and communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Capability to handle high stress situations in both a business and professional manner.
  • Computer experience with intermediate skills in Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Quick learner, strong problem solver, and adaptable.
  • Work independently under general supervision.
  • Foster and promote a team atmosphere.
