Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Life Skills Program Manager at Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Washington, PA. This role is responsible for developing and coordinating life skills programming for our residential program.

Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive life skills curriculum that addresses the needs of patients, including GED training, job search planning, OVR contact, resolution of legal issues, and debt reduction planning.
  • Community Service: Organize and implement Community Service activities for patients, including completing appropriate documentation.
  • Patient Support: Provide support and guidance to patients while at Community Service, document hours performed by each patient, and address cleanliness with patients as needed.
  • Fundraising: Fundraise continuously throughout the year to ensure the patient activity fund stays replenished.
  • Donation Management: Organize and replenish donations received for clothing, following GRC guidelines.
  • Therapeutic Activities: Implement therapeutic recreational activities, holiday activities, and evidence-based practices utilized in Gateway's continuum of services.
  • Group Facilitation: Facilitate psychoeducational, Life Skills, and other patient groups as assigned.
  • Coverage and Transportation: Provide coverage for the counselor technician position as needed and transport patients to off-site activities.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED
  • Certifications: CPR certification, valid driver's license with favorable driving record

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
