About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our ENT/Plastics and Internal Medicine Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including head and neck cancer, surgical flaps and grafts, renal failure, diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, sepsis, and complex multi-system failure.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions, working closely with our medical team to ensure seamless care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, ensuring a smooth transition to the next stage of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years of recent nursing experience (external applicants).
  • Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Personal Protective Equipment
  • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
