Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at the Brandon School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with a range of needs, from mild to severe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language programs for students with speech and language impairments
  • Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement therapy programs and provide support to students
  • Communicate with parents and families to provide information and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress
Requirements
  • Michigan licensure in Speech and Language Pathology required
  • Experience working with students with ASD and Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
  • Experience in providing services utilizing the components of a Response to Intervention or MTSS model
  • Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with students, parents and staff
