Salesforce, Inc. is seeking highly skilled Technical Architects to join our Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group (CSG). As a trusted advisor, you'll serve as a strategic partner to our largest, most complex enterprise customers, leveraging your expertise in technical architecture, enterprise integration, and business solution implementation.

As a Technical Architect, you'll collaborate closely with customers and partners during project cycles, sharing your extensive knowledge of the Salesforce.com platform and product suite. You'll drive towards the best possible solutions, painting a vision for system architecture, guiding implementation, and providing expert guidance throughout the process.

Your role will be to ensure scalable and standard methodology solutions meet and exceed customer needs. You'll build relationships with key collaborators and team members, aligning work across multiple architects and coordinating efforts to deliver exceptional results.

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to

Guide the evaluation of business and technical requirements, ensuring seamless alignment between stakeholders.Build and maintain key relationships with C-level/mid-level decision makers, fostering trust and driving collaboration.Act as lead architect for engagements, coordinating work across multiple teams and ensuring timely delivery.Align with project managers to support planning and implementation, delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations.Review and guide project vision and direction, implementation approach, and key artefacts, ensuring consistency and excellence throughout the project lifecycle.Direct early solution evaluation, including proactive management of issues and effective engagement with executives, the account team, engineering, and product management.Where required, provide hands-on application configuration to meet customer needs, showcasing your expertise and ability to adapt.Fuel internal growth by identifying, leading, or contributing to pivotal initiatives, such as innovations and skill development programs, to nurture teammates' skills and knowledge.Support pre-sales activities, positioning Salesforce Services and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.Contribute to broader goals by becoming a citizen philanthropist, participating in volunteering activities, and giving back to the community.

To succeed in this role, you'll require

A strong background in technical consulting and solution implementation, with experience in coding object-oriented languages and major software domains (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR).The ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration, driving innovation and efficiency.Experience in guiding customers and project members in rationalizing and deploying emerging technologies for business use cases, demonstrating your ability to adapt and innovate.Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies rapidly and thrive in a distributed team environment.Availability to travel regionally and occasionally internationally, depending on customer needs, showcasing your flexibility and adaptability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

A detailed understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, and Enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise integration tools (ESBs and/or ETL tools), and common integration design patterns with enterprise systems.The ability to build and maintain key relationships with C-level/mid-level decision makers, driving collaboration and trust.Experience as a Senior Architect and/or CTO in a mid-to-large-sized organization, with leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrixed organization, showcasing your expertise and ability to lead.Experience defining and delivering enterprise applications on the Salesforce Platform, including coded solutions, demonstrating your expertise and adaptability.

For Washington D.C.-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $151,800 to $243,100. For Maryland-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $151,800 to $243,100.
