Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Financial Controller to join our team at a leading manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, manage, and evaluate the financial stability of the organization.
  • Support the month-end closing process of the general ledger, including accruals, reviewing inventory and cost-related accounts, and analyzing gross margin reports.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to assess manufacturing techniques and processes that optimize cost efficiency and product consistency.
  • Contribute to capital projects by estimating costs and identifying potential savings for new machinery, calculating Return on Investment, and preparing capital budget proposals as necessary.
  • Input, maintain, and scrutinize cost data within the ERP system.
  • Deliver high-level financial insights during monthly leadership discussions.
  • Identify and implement cost efficiencies for proposed layout enhancements and equipment upgrades.
  • Gather and compile costing data to support the creation of bills of materials, routing, item costs, and operational budgets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Cost Accounting or Senior Accounting within a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in standard costing, financial accounting/analysis, profit and loss statements, variance analysis, budgeting, and related accounting functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in international operations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
