Responsibilities
- Provide In-Home Direct Patient Care: As a Home Health Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in the comfort of their own homes, following the provider's prescribed plan of care and nursing scope of practice.
- Assess and Document Patient Conditions: You will assess and document patient conditions, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer Medication and Insulin: You will administer medication and insulin as prescribed, documenting thoroughly and ensuring the patient's safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: As a Home Health Nurse, you will work closely with healthcare professionals, including providers, aides, and allied health professionals, to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing: You must have an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) to be eligible for this position.
- CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid Certification: You must have current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification to work as a Home Health Nurse with Interim HealthCare.
- Reliable Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to and from care sites and/or work locations.
