About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Baptist Health Floyd. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction of a nurse to provide delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
About the Department:
The Internal Float Pool is a team of experienced nurses and nursing assistants who can work on any inpatient unit that requires additional staffing. Our team reports to their specific Supervisor, who provides guidance when issues arise. The House Managers allocate staff to the greatest need in the hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide delegated aspects of patient care under the direction of a nurse.
- Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or CNA certification preferred but not required.
