Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Installation Pipefitter to join our team at Williams & Rowe Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA and surrounding area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems in commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and install the appropriate piping materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
  • Plan and execute the installation sequence to avoid obstructions and minimize disruptions to other workers.
  • Cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment.
  • Assemble and install pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded, caulked, soldered, or cemented joints.
  • Secure pipes to structures using brackets, clamps, and hangers.
  • Test piping systems for leaks and diagnose refrigeration systems for necessary repairs.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of commercial refrigeration and pipefitting experience; supermarket experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration installation, electrical, and microprocessor control systems.
  • Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and follow safety procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Legally eligible to work in the US.
