Clinical Cardiovascular Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Cardiovascular Nurse to join our team at Providence Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' cardiac health, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating patients' cardiac health through physical examinations and medical history reviews
  • Monitoring vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation
  • Administering medications as prescribed by physicians to manage cardiac conditions
  • Providing education to patients and families on cardiac conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
  • Responding to cardiac emergencies, such as cardiac arrests or acute myocardial infarctions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required
  • Current BCLS (AHA), ACLS certificate required
  • One year of clinical experience in a cardiovascular lab or critical care area required

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
