Job Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant will provide direction and standardize the implementation/maintenance of the weekend program PCA staffing schedule.

This role will allow for flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient staff to care for patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide or assist with patients' care
  • Transport patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Monitor equipment function
  • Document patient information on appropriate forms
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Six (6) months of previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • STNA and basic Life Support Certificate preferred
