Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500, relocation assistance, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, developing personalized treatment plans, and fostering a positive environment to encourage patient healing and recovery. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
- Completion of state-regulated continuing education requirements
- Excellent clinical decision-making skills and strong communication abilities
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) software

What You'll Do:
As a Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and recording patient care data that follows format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers
- Preparing for evaluations in accordance with department policies and procedures, obtaining patient history, exhibiting knowledge of patient diagnoses, and researching unfamiliar diagnoses
- Selecting and administering tests and measures, synthesizing evaluation results to formulate the diagnosis, goals, prognosis, and plan of care
- Establishing treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and patient support systems
- Identifying needs for consultations and referrals to other healthcare professionals or services, initiating and completing discharge plans
- Providing education and training to patients and their support systems, conducting functional training, and overseeing support staff
