Position Overview:

The Multimedia Production Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality video services, including video operations, maintenance, and archiving. This role involves capturing a diverse array of significant live and staged events, meetings, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute live video production and post-production tasks.
  • Manage the operation and upkeep of broadcast-quality audio and video documentation systems.
  • Set up and operate various AV equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Utilize professional video cameras in both mobile and stationary settings.
  • Plan and adjust camera movements as necessary during live events.
  • Conduct multi-camera live event switching and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for archiving recorded materials.
  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate effectively with team members.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $95,000.

Security Requirements:

This role necessitates a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level. Candidates without an active clearance may be eligible for sponsorship through the clearance process.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Proficient in audio-visual equipment and concepts.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to apply audio, visual, and power-related mathematics.
  • Familiarity with office productivity software, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to walk, stand, talk, and hear regularly. The candidate must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and perform various physical tasks as necessary.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, with a generally low noise level.
