Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Operations Manager to lead our retail business operations at a Retail Store location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing store production, and leading a team of Assistant Store Managers, Production Team, and Donation Attendants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Retail Operations Plan: Develop and execute a retail operations plan to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for operating income, revenue, and production.
  • Coordinate with District Manager: Coordinate with the Retail District Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to drive donations and achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor Product Levels: Monitor product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
  • Manage Payroll and Operating Costs: Ensure payroll costs and operating costs are managed to budget.
  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Ensure Team Members deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure store locations are clean, well-kept, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
  • Partner with Community Businesses: Partner with community businesses and organizations to promote the Goodwill mission.
  • Lead by Example: Model Goodwill Core Values - Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two Years' Work Experience: Two years' work experience in Retail Management, preferably thrift.
  • Customer Service Experience: One-year customer service experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid drivers' license and clean MVR required.
  • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.
  • English Proficiency: Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
