Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish Cherry Hill Campus. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac catheterization procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional procedures, under the guidance of a cardiologist.
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment and other medical devices to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with optical coherence tomography (OCT) and other advanced imaging modalities.
  • Knowledge of cardiac stent placement and other interventional procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
