Job Summary:

As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases by performing diagnostic procedures and operating medical equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the cath lab, including the setup and operation of medical equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, such as angiograms and cardiac catheterizations, under the supervision of a cardiologist.
  • Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the cardiologist.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in a related field, such as radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology.
  • Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a cath lab setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
