About the Role:

Eide Bailly LLP is seeking a highly skilled Audit Associate to join our team. As an Audit Associate, you will play a key role in providing audit, review, and compilation services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client engagement meetings to determine timelines and objectives of an audit.
  • Perform audit, review, and compilation procedures for clients.
  • Analyze and prepare trial balances, complex financial statements, and audit reports using audit software programs, Word, and Excel.
  • Perform schedule computations of accruals, property, and equipment, calculates depreciation expenses, and long-term debt schedules for clients.
  • Reconcile accounting information to control accounts.
  • Assist with financial analysis upon completion of fieldwork in an effort to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Assist in proofing financial statements and other accounting documents.
  • Maintain awareness of general business trends and issues, and apply that knowledge to client issues and solutions.
  • Perform fieldwork at client locations as necessary.
  • Attend training seminars, professional development, and networking events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (required).
  • 1+ years of experience in audit (required).
  • Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtaining CPA license (preferred).
  • Knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), and using various software packages.
  • Authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
