Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Morrison Healthcare. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
  • Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records from the area worked during service periods.
  • Clean the kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed and assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required and report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings and maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
