Job Summary

This position is responsible for directing clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals. The Medical Equipment Clinician will complete patient records, conduct home visits, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct clinical planning, application, and follow-up of medical equipment and supplies for individuals.
  • Complete patient records and conduct home visits to ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRTT), Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
  • Licensure or Certification in the State of South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, and Minnesota required depending on service areas.
  • Registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) if a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician required or within 6 months of hire date.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, occasional weekend/holiday/call, 80 hours/2 weeks.
Compensation
  • The hourly range for this position is $22.00 - $31.75 per hour, dependent on experience.
