We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the security operations at our client sites, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Develop and implement effective security protocols to ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and develop customized security solutions.
- Provide training and coaching to security personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Monitor and report on security incidents, providing recommendations for improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
- Knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and procedures.
- Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
- Understanding of security and safety devices and controls.
- Ability to learn quickly and carry out instructions.
- Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
- Ability to be an effective team member.
- Ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations.
The Security Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and respond to security incidents. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
The Security Supervisor may be required to work overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. The successful candidate must also be able to pass a background check and meet the requirements for any applicable state, county, and municipal licenses for security officers.
