Responsibilities:

* Advise active-duty personnel on all programs available through voluntary off-duty education
* Provide guidance and support to military members as they pursue their educational goals
* Evaluate military training and course completions, review transcripts, and apply credit obtained
* Pull reports from the CCAF Online website to track progress and graduates
* Teach potential CCAF graduates how to use AFVEC features
* Instruct service members on how to use the Civilian Course Conversion Table and the Military Course Conversion Table
* Submit CCAF Action Requests to CCAF Program Managers and follow up with service members
* Document phone calls, emails, and conversations with service members in AFAEMS
* Retrieve CCAF graduation confirmation emails from the organization email box
* Assist ADAF with information regarding Air Force tuition assistance, Veteran Administration education benefits, and federal financial assistance programs
* Ensure courses taken for CCAF using military TA are needed for CCAF degree and complete counseling notes in AFAEMS
* Assist incoming CCAF Instructors with requirements and enrollment into Instructor of Technology & Military Science degree
* Refer students to the appropriate academic institution representative for registration and enrollment in courses or programs
* Conduct briefings for ADAF/ADSF and other requestors as needed
* Prepare necessary correspondence and forms and maintain related records and logs
* Advise the Space Launch Delta 30 designated graduation committee on semi-annual CCAF graduation ceremonies
* Maintain a by-date record showing advisement or counseling sessions conducted

Requirements:

* Must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
* Must pass a background check
* Two years or more of experience in adult or military education academic advising is required
* Knowledge of or experience with Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs is preferred
* Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access is also preferred
