Must be a graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and any relevant certifications as required for the position.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
- Delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients with behavioral or mental health needs.
- Demonstrates expertise by mentoring new staff in behavioral health and/or UCHealth practices.
- Actively participates in initiatives to enhance safety and quality at the point of care.
Responds effectively to patient care scenarios by adhering to established nursing standards and treatment protocols.
- Provides psychiatric nursing care to a diverse and complex behavioral health patient population.
- Manages critical and high-pressure situations with decisiveness and professionalism.
