About the Opportunity
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapeutic services to students in a K-12 setting near Cypress, CA.
Job Summary
We are looking for an SLP who can make a difference in the lives of students and work collaboratively with teachers and staff to develop individualized treatment plans that promote academic and social success.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to students with varying communication needs and abilities
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Assess student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to share student progress and goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
Requirements
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent experience
- California SLP License
- Ability to commute to the school site
