About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Family Office Enterprise (FOE) practice at RSM US LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to ultra-high net worth families and their family offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Tax Planning and Advisory Services: Advise family office and multi-generational families on a full spectrum of tax services, including structuring and modeling, succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance.
  • Manage Client Engagements: Lead the engagement team focused on entity, individual, fiduciary, and gift/estate taxation, ensuring the planning and execution of client tax engagements that exceed client expectations and RSM profitability thresholds.
  • Build Client Relationships: Anticipate client needs and collaborate with RSM colleagues in specialty tax areas as well as cross-line of business to build client relationships and support growth.
  • Develop and Sustain Strong Relationships: Develop and sustain strong relationships with clients, centers of influence, and other RSM promoters through networking, thought leadership, and community involvement.
  • Empower Team Members: Deliver exceptional talent experience by building collaborative teams, developing, and rewarding team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience working in public accounting with an emphasis on private client taxation, including working with family offices and multi-generational families.
  • Skills: Proficient in at least one area: entity or individual and fiduciary taxation, with an understanding of complex investments and the related tax implications.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to lead collaborative teams and manage a book of business that exceeds client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: LL.M. in Taxation and/or Master's in Taxation.
  • Specialized Knowledge: Experience with gift and estate taxation.
