About the Role:

Job Description:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck across various routes to deliver food and food-related products while ensuring customer service and safety standards are met.
  • Perform safety checks and maintain accurate documentation for deliveries.
  • Build lasting relationships with customers and represent our company as a professional representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure timely and accurate resolution of inquiries.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  3. Conduct regular safety inspections on vehicles and trailers to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  4. Maintain accurate records of hours worked, miles driven, and other relevant information.
  5. Participate in general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months commercial driving experience.
  • A valid CDL A license.
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
  • Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card.
