Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse - Telemetry Unit

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry Unit at ChristianaCare. As a member of our team, you will work closely with hospitalists, specialty consultants, and transitional nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is a 36-hour per week evening/midnight shift position, with weekends and holidays covered according to department guidelines. You will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 medical or surgical patients per shift and working with the multidisciplinary team to achieve realistic healthcare goals for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional status, past health history, health practices, and both the patient's and the family's knowledge of their disease and its treatment.
  • Engage in a relationship-based care model, building relationships with patients and families as well as with peers, guided by our values of excellence and love.
  • Plan nursing care to promote patient wellness and provide patients and their families with information related to their disease process and patient education.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Delaware or a compact state.
  • Telemetry experience a plus.
  • Progressive Care or Gerontology Certification preferred.
