At Universal Health Services, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Liaison PT to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Admission Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals and families.

Job Overview

The Nurse Liaison PT position requires a strong background in clinical experience, preferably in medical or physical rehabilitation settings. You will be responsible for receiving patient referrals, arranging evaluations, and reviewing initial payor data. Your excellent organizational and liaison capabilities, combined with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, will enable you to effectively coordinate patient care and present potential candidates for approval at admissions meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure appropriate contact information and assess patient's rehabilitation potential and suitability for hospitalization.
  • Interview patient and family to gather information and determine special needs.
  • Acknowledge and adhere to admission criteria and present potential patients for approval at admissions meeting.
  • Inform physicians of pending admission and coordinate pertinent data with Business and Admitting Office.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • TWO (2) years clinical experience in medical or ONE (1) year clinical experience in a physical rehab setting preferred.
  • Good organizational and liaison capabilities with well-developed written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated public relation abilities with cooperative and assertive attitude.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare guidelines for Rehabilitation.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
