The Veterinary Care Assistant is instrumental in guiding clients through veterinary care processes, aiding veterinarians in patient management, and ensuring the overall health and comfort of our patients. This role is vital for maintaining an efficient flow of clients and animals within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and assist them in examination areas
  • Aid veterinarians during assessments and treatments
  • Facilitate client check-in and check-out procedures
  • Prepare medications and vaccines for administration
  • Inform clients about treatment plans and at-home care
  • Record procedures for billing purposes
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination areas
  • Deliver outstanding customer service
  • Educate clients on preventive healthcare and pet maintenance
  • Promote practice products and services

Educational Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
