Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Sun Life Health. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, take medical histories, and make preliminary diagnoses of diseases, illnesses, and injuries.
  • Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories.
  • Identify short-term and long-range patient care issues and provide information, recommendations, and course of action.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work, and interpret test results.
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as immunizations, injections, suturing, and wound care, and manage infections.
  • Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal and abnormal development information, and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
  • Exercise professional judgment regarding consultation with other Physicians concerning appropriate treatment.
  • Maintain outpatient records by documenting patient care services.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a four-year undergraduate degree, four years of Medical School earning a MD or DO degree, one year of rotating Internship, and two years of Residency.
  • Board certification or Board eligible in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of annual CME requirements.
